What is a managed service provider?
A managed service provider takes on day-to-day IT for a monthly fee. You get monitoring, maintenance, and a help desk that already knows your systems, instead of calling someone only after something breaks.
Do you support the equipment we already own?
Yes, in most cases. During the readiness check we look at what you have, including older PCs on a shop floor. We will tell you if something should be replaced. We will not push a refresh you do not need.
What happens to our current IT person or vendor?
We would rather work with them than around them. Some companies keep an internal person. Some are ready for a full move. You own your data and your accounts either way.
How fast do you respond?
A response means a person acknowledges the request and starts on it. It is not a promise that every repair is finished in that window. Urgent: within 1 hour during the hours your plan covers, and at any hour on Complete. Standard: within 4 business hours. Planned: within 1 business day. These are goals, not guarantees, and they are written into the agreement.
What is CMMC, in plain terms?
CMMC is how the Department of Defense checks that contractors protect sensitive contract information. It lines up with NIST 800-171. Federal contract information and controlled unclassified information are not the same bar. We explain which one applies to you. We provide readiness support. We do not certify you.
How does onboarding work?
We start with the free readiness check. Then we agree on scope and price, document what you have, and move monitoring, accounts, and support over in a planned sequence. Onboarding cost is confirmed in the quote before you agree. You keep your data, your accounts, and your documentation.
Who counts as a user, and what costs extra?
A user is a person with an account and a device we support. Shared shop-floor computers are counted in the quote, in the open, before you sign. Project work, hardware, and Microsoft 365 licenses are extra. CMMC readiness support is scoped after your free readiness check. After the first term, plans are month-to-month. Smaller shops with few computers can ask about per-site pricing.
Do we own our data and our accounts?
Yes. You own your data, your accounts, and the documentation we keep about your environment. If we part ways, you leave with them.
